Reem Kufi Medium Regular

Reem Kufi is a contemporary Kufic typeface that traces its roots back to the calligraphic masterpieces of the early 20th century, specifically the work of the renowned calligrapher Mohammed Hosni. It is designed to bridge the gap between traditional Arabic script and modern digital typography, offering a clean, geometric aesthetic that remains faithful to the historical Kufi style. The Medium Regular weight provides a solid presence without being overly heavy, making it a versatile choice for designers seeking an authentic yet modern Arabic feel.

The typeface is celebrated for its precise geometry and open counters, which ensure excellent legibility even in display settings. Reem Kufi Medium Regular is particularly well-suited for projects that require a touch of cultural sophistication, such as museum branding, architectural signage, and literary publications. By revitalizing classic Arabic forms for the screen and print era, Khaled Hosny has provided a tool that honors the rich heritage of Islamic calligraphy while meeting the demands of high-quality modern design.
