Reem Kufi SemiBold Regular

Reem Kufi SemiBold Regular is a contemporary Kufic typeface inspired by the early Kufic manuscripts and the classic geometric styles of Arabic calligraphy. Named after the designer's daughter, Reem, this font was developed to bridge the gap between historical script traditions and modern digital typography. It captures the essence of the Kufi style through meticulous attention to proportions and rhythmic spacing, ensuring it remains faithful to its calligraphic roots while appearing fresh and modern.

The SemiBold weight provides a robust and sturdy presence, making it particularly effective for display purposes where clarity and visual impact are paramount. As an open-source project, Reem Kufi has been widely adopted by designers globally for its ability to handle both traditional and experimental Arabic layouts. Its clean lines and balanced structure make it a versatile tool for branding, cultural projects, and sophisticated editorial design under the SIL Open Font License.
