Reem Kufi Regular

Reem Kufi Regular is a contemporary Fatimid Kufic typeface inspired by the early 20th-century designs of the legendary calligrapher Mohammed Moatassim. This typeface serves as a digital revival that captures the geometric essence and rhythmic beauty of one of the oldest forms of Arabic calligraphy. By focusing on structural clarity and historical accuracy, it provides a bridge between the rich heritage of Islamic manuscripts and the demands of modern graphic design.

Developed by Khaled Hosny, the font is meticulously crafted to function as a display face, making it ideal for high-impact visual communication. It avoids the clutter of traditional ornamentation in favor of clean, bold lines that resonate with minimalist aesthetics. Its open-source nature has made it a staple for designers looking for a culturally authentic yet modern Arabic typographic solution.
